| 1SSUE was started in 2002 by artist Richard Cox, intended as a one - off book. This hand - made publication continues to this day, edited in rotation by Richard and artists Hilary Wagstaff, Heather Parnell and Phil Mead. Experimental and playful, contributions often test the limits of what might be considered a "page." The number of pages in each books equals the amount of contributing artists as well as the number of books created, so no two books are alike.
